| Course Description | Prerequisite: Student must have taken beginning workshop in any undergraduate creative writing concentration. Open Nonfiction Workshop is designed for students with some experience in writing literary nonfiction. Intermediate workshops present a higher creative standard than beginning workshops and an expectation that students will produce finished work. Outside readings supplement and inform the exercises and longer written projects. By the end of the semester, students will have produced thirty to forty pages of original work in at least two traditions of literary nonfiction.
