| Course Description | Key principles of this course are resilience, neurobiology, a cultural & ecological approach to development, and self and community care. The course will begin with foundational principles and then move into assessment, developmental stages and special issues in child and adolescent trauma. The course will end with a focus o Evidence-Based Interventions with children and adolescents recovering from trauma. The course will prioritize self-reflection through assignments and live session experiential exercises. Material will be applied through the use of clinical cases. |
