| Course Description | MPA Financial Management II Core. This course introduces nonprofit and social enterprise finance, financial management, and budgeting. The course is practical and hands-on. The course will examine how financial management principles assist nonprofit and social enterprise leaders make operating, program, and long-term financial and strategic decisions. Students will learn underlying concepts and practical skills through readings, discussions, Case Studies, and assignments. The course is designed to give students a range of core financial and managerial skills that are especially relevant to students who want to go on to establish, manage, or work in nonprofit organizations or social enterprises. |
