Course Description

MPA and MIA-Track II Economics Core. This course introduces the fundamental tools of microeconomic analysis used to understand individual decision-making, market behavior, and policy outcomes. It equips students with the analytical frameworks and terminology of the economics profession, fostering both critical and open-minded engagement with economic issues. Emphasis is placed on the motivations and consequences of microeconomic policies in international and public affairs contexts. Through problem-solving and collaborative work, students will build practical skills in applying economic models to real-world challenges.
