Course Description

This course considers the specific contribution that religious studies can make to understandings of ecological ethics. Beginning with a study of religions as practicing
communities that can provide understandings of nature, sociality, the world, and the cosmos, the course considers different ethical methods and modes of living. Students will develop their own understandings through a research project that can contribute to class discussions throughout the second half of the course.
