| Course Description | Prerequisites: BC1001 or permission of the instructor. Enrollment limited to 75 students. Examines the biological, psychological, and social factors that lead to drug use and abuse. A biopsychosocial model will be used to examine the behavioral effects of prescription, over the counter, and street drugs. Treatments, therapies, and theories of addictive behaviors will be explored. |
