| Course Description | Reviews and integrates current research on the social psychology of helping. Discussions and readings will cover theoretical principles, methodological approaches, and cultural and motivational predictors for reciprocity, altruism, prosociality, help-seeking, and help-giving behavior on both personal and societal levels. Students will write a personal research proposal based on the theories presented during the seminar. |
