| Course Description | Course Overview: This course is designed to integrate didactic knowledge and experiential learning in a clinical setting. Course Description: This course offers students the opportunity to participate and guide weekly exercise classes for breast cancer patients and survivors. Students have exposure to the clinical setting, design and lead exercise training sessions, and make recommendations for regressions and progressions based on patient responses to exercise. An introduction to current literature describing the benefits of exercise in this patient population is also included. |
