Course Description | This 8-week course during the fourth term of the DPT curriculum is the first of a two-part series which applies the Patient Management Model to adults with neuromuscular conditions, in particular acquired brain injury disorders, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Examination, intervention, progression and outcome assessment for stroke and traumatic brain injury disorders are linked with diagnostic imaging and management via medical and surgical methods. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making and evidenced-based practice in individuals with neurological conditions. |
