| Course Description | The content of this course focuses on safe and appropriate applications of physical modalities in physical therapy practice. This course is designed to provide students with a theoretical knowledge base and the psychomotor skills required for the therapeutic application of commonly used physical modalities in a safe and appropriate manner. Clinical reasoning will be fostered through lectures, group discussions, hands-on laboratory activities, and case studies. Students will be expected to apply information from previous coursework in a relevant manner to critically analyze a variety of clinical scenarios. |
