Course Description | The course is designed to improve how you go about making managerial and personal decisions. The basic premise of the course is that a variety of factors can interfere with good decision-making. Some of these obstacles are at the level of the individual, some at the level of the group, and others at the level of the organization. The course emphasizes how to work through and around these various obstacles, and thereby bring about high quality decisions. The course integrates theory and practice; it will be team-taught by a faculty member in the Management Division and by an Executive-in-Residence at Columbia Business School. |
