Course Description | The course will provide students with an understanding of the energy decarbonization pathways needed to address the risks of climate change and the economic, scientific, and political barriers that stand in the way. It will dig into the technologies and strategies that can spur decarbonization in each of the major energy sectors. It will highlight the most critical public policies to reduce emissions effectively, efficiently, and equitably. It will describe historical failures, successes, and ongoing attempts to achieve energy decarbonization worldwide. |
