Course Description | This course will offer an introduction to the history of Jews in modern German culture from the Enlightenment to the late twentieth century with a focus on literary representations. Texts by Lessing, Heine, Franzos, Kafka, Freud, Celan and Sebald. All readings and discussions in English. |
