| Course Description | Students in this course will provide genetic counseling services under supervision for clients being seen via telehealth in the Columbia/NYP medical system. Students will work with clients being referred for genetic counseling for various indications within the departments of Pediatrics, OBGYN, Neurology, and Medicine. Students will provide education, support, guidance, and referrals as needed for the individual consultation. They will have increasingly more independence in case management throughout the internship. |
