Course Description | From ancient Greece to Wicked, the figure of the witch has fascinated and frightened, compelled and repulsed. In this seminar, well analyze written and visual texts from Homer to The Brothers Grimm and beyond to develop a deeper understanding of the witch and the anxieties about gender and power that she represents. |
