Course Description | This course seeks to introduce students to the fundamentals of financial management primarily related to the public sector but also includes applications for the private sector. It is essential for students in public affairs to understand where the money comes from to fund government and how that money is spent. In addition, it is increasingly important to grasp the size and scope of government expenditures and revenue in relation to the flow of global private capital and to recognize the ways in which both the public sector and private sector are increasingly interconnected. |
