| Course Description | Introduction to microwave engineering and microwave circuit design. Review of transmission lines. Smith chart, S-parameters, microwave impedance matching, transformation and power combining networks, active and passive microwave devices, S-parameter-based design of RF and microwave amplifiers. A microwave circuit design project (using microwave CAD) is an integral part of the course. |
