Course Description | This course was designed to provide a foundation in major topics in Environmental Health, aimed at MPH students in EHS. The course explores fundamental principles of environmental health that are not provided in the other departmental required courses; Risk Assessment, Analysis of Environmental Health Science Data and Fundamentals of Toxicology. Lectures will expand on topics introduced in the Environmental Determinants of Health core course, as well as introducing additions topics deemed central to an MPH student in EHS. This will be team taught and use both didactic and case based approaches to learning. Students will also engage in scientific writing and critical analysis of research in topics relevant to environmental health sciences. |
