Over the course of the year, students will design and carry-out an inquiry project, and they will report on this project through an appropriate medium, for a specific purpose and audience. To this end, we will address the following: the relationship between theory, experience, and the development of a research question; the research methods that are appropriate for our research; the purposes of our research; the consequences our research might have and for whom; how we analyze data; and how we communicate with the audience of our research. |
