Course Description | Prerequisites: ECON G6211 and ECON G6212. This course provides an overview of topics in industrial organization (IO) economics. Its goals are to survey the main outlines of modern IO, to develop key theoretical ideas, to demonstrate important techniques, to link theory to empirical work, and to relate theoretical and empirical results to policy issues. Empirical two-period models. Empirical single-agent and multiple-agent dynamic models. |
