Course Description Prerequisites: ECON GR6211 This course will introduce current developments in microeconomics. The course is intended for 2nd and 3rd year PhD students in Economics, although others with a suitable background can be considered. The material is aimed for a broad set of such students - those with both theoretical and empirical bents - who are interested in studying the implications of recent advances in microeconomics to research questions in fields such as industrial organization, public economics, development, health economics, political economy, and behavioral economics. The specific coverage of topics will vary across years.
