Course Description

To address the growing need for trained builders and strategic thinkers, the Innovative Infrastructure and Megaprojects Delivery course will introduce students to the principles, management techniques, tools and resources necessary to successfully drive and deliver complex public works infrastructure and megaprojects.
We will identify criteria that define Infrastructure and Megaprojects and assess the varied and often conflicting challenges associated with planning and delivering complex, large-scale public works. Projects of this scale have far-reaching economic, social and environmental impacts. We will address managing such public works in an ethical and equitable manner that engages the communities that they serve.
