Course Description | Utilization of data in everyday civil infrastructure. Optimization of decision-making for owners, facility managers, and policy-makers based on predictive results. Provides students with basic understanding of machine learning concepts and methods to formulate civil engineering problems to prediction problems. Introduces students to classic machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms, algorithmic thinking, and probabilistic views, and their applications in existing civil engineering problems.
