Course Description College Biochemistry, Biology and Chemistry. This course is for all first year Ph.D. students and provides them with a unified curriculum that covers many of the topics that students need to know to successfully carry out research in biological sciences. The topics include basic biochemical principles, processes common to all eukaryotic cells such as transcription, translation and the cell cycle, and mechanisims of cell-cell signaling.
