Course Description | This interdisciplinary course on weaving as a craft and an art in Muslim societies draws on scholarship in Art History, Anthropology and Islamic Studies. We will have access to actual weavings from the Instructor’s collection, from the Avery Library Properties, and in visits to the Metropolitan and the American Museum of Natural History. |
