Course Description | This course explores the histories, concepts, and practices of race and power in international development. Drawing on critical race theory, intersectionality, feminist, and decolonial frameworks, students will examine how race, gender, and power intersect in development systems, organizations, and programs. Through case studies, group projects, practitioner discussions, and self-reflection, the course equips students to assess structural inequalities and develop strategies to advance racial equity and justice in the development sector. |
